ABOUT Keep The Faith Foundation?
HISTORY
Our history began with a group of community activists and leaders coming together after noticing some of the gaps that occur while working to rehabilitate substance abusers and ex-offenders in the community. These individuals came to us seeking more than education about their addiction. They seemed to know plenty about their addiction but what they didn't know was how to trust God, themselves, and their fellow community brothers and sisters. They also needed to learn how to take care of each other and ultimately look out for each other. In addition, they needed to learn how to work, live, take care of their families and their communities.
Subsequent to doing extensive research on opportunities for faith-based organizations, we found the resources necessary to help us become an enterprise well-equipped to assist and aid our community to be successful, caring, healthy citizens.
Keep The Faith Foundation is located on Chicago's West side and we provide services for, primarily, all communities within the Cook County district.
Who We Serve
Our program consists primarily of individuals seeking vocational training subsequent to accomplishing recovery from substance abuse and ex- offenders seeking adult education assistance/employment resources.
Since participants come to us requiring a variety of services and each individual situation is unique, they are assessed in a welcoming yet thorough manner.
