What We Offer?
Vocational Training
Vocational training is a key component to helping persons in recovery/ ex-offenders make a key first step towards accomplish the goal of gainful employment. We offer courses that prepare learners for jobs that are based in manual or practical activities.
We conduct a vocational training evaluation of persons newly enrolled in program to pinpoint the best approach to help each individual be successful while participating in KTF and beyond. This assessment is a comprehensive process in which clients and assigned staff evaluators work together to identify and assess the client’s vocational training readiness, interests, aptitudes, and environmental limitations relative to the client’s desired employment outcome.
Recovery/life coaching and mentoring
As a faith-based organization we make use of the insights of religious traditions and the principles of social services to administer our pastoral counseling. Combining faith with social services creates the right recipe for the healing of mind, body and spirit and works well towards the achievement of restoring the whole individual.
We conduct one-on-one coaching while persons are active in program to gauge development at each stage of the program, beginning, middle and conclusion. These sessions help clients stay connected and allow us to periodically check on their progress.
